Alias ImageStudio is a standalone rendering and visualization application developed by Alias Systems. Designed for industrial designers and automotive stylists, it turns CAD and surface models into photorealistic images quickly by focusing on lighting, materials, and camera setup rather than modeling. It offers image-based lighting with HDR environments, ready-made studio presets, and an intuitive material-assignment workflow, making it easy to achieve realistic reflections, highlights, and surface finishes. ImageStudio imports models from Alias Studio/StudioTools and other common 3D formats and produces high-resolution stills suitable for design reviews, presentations, and marketing imagery.
